Gear & Food Drive - TGTHER x Avid4 Adventure
We believe in the power of compassion and the positive impacts that make a difference in our community in Boulder County. This year, we are thrilled to launch our Gear and Food Drive, dedicated to brightening the lives of underprivileged individuals.
We're partnering with TGTHR, a non-profit in Boulder, CO that serves young people (12-24) who are experiencing homelessness. Their services include a drop-in center for youth to receive basic needs and resource navigation support, an overnight emergency shelter for youth to stay in, an affordable apartment complex that offers comprehensive support services for transitioning to stable housing, and much more. In an attempt to Live Community, Avid4 Adventure is partnering with TGTHR to help collect:
- Basic necessities to be distributed via outreach efforts to individuals currently outside experiencing homelessness
- Outdoor gear, sports equipment, and school supplies to be delivered directly to TGTHR youth who are actively participating in their programming
You can purchase & donate any of the gear (bikes/clothes/packs) on our online shop to this cause or donate any of the following items:
Food Items
- Non-perishable canned food (with easy open lids)
- Tuna
- Chicken
- Pasta Meals (think Chef Boyardee)
- Soup, Stew, Chili
- Canned fruit or fruit cups
- Canned vegetables
- Dehydrated backpacking meals
- Snacks (softer the better for easy chewing)
- Cracker Packs (Meat/Cheese, Peanut Butter, Tuna, etc.)
- Poptarts
- Soft Granola Bars
- Protein Bars
- Beef Jerky
- Juice, Soda, Water, or Sparkling Water Cans/Bottles
- Mints or Hard Candies
Hygiene Items (travel-sized preferred)
- Shampoo/ Conditioner/ Soap

- First Aid Items (especially triple antibiotic and bandages)

Clothing (to help outreach efforts, please only donate new clothing items sizes Adult XS - XXL)
- Moisture Wicking Socks (Bombas are great, and they donate a pair for a pair bought!)

- Baseball Caps, Winter Beanies, Winter Gloves

Donations can be dropped off at the Avid4 Adventure warehouse in Louisville CO. Thursday 9/28 (2pm - 6pm) and Friday 9/29 (9am - 6pm).
